The screens are made of metal, so you’ll need to use a hacksaw.
There’s a strip graduated in millimetres on the housing where you can see the width of your frame (do not subtract for clearance, as it has already been accounted for in the factory); use the cutting guide provided to cut the whole piece (housing, tube, fabric) at a right angle.
To install the screen housing, you’ll need 47mm, and 26mm for the runners.
The housing can be installed with just 2 screws, thanks to the special housing ends.
The runners are pre-drilled, and in the parts bag you’ll find a screw guide to help you install the runners.
Get the frame dimensions (wall to wall). Take the dimensions at several points
- smaller frame width
- Greater frame height
DO NOT SUBTRACT FOR CLEARANCE (as it’s already been accounted for in the factory) / TRANSFER THESE DIMENSIONS TO THE MILLIMETRE STRIP ON THE HOUSING

There are two possibilities:
Side rollables: By installing a screen on both sides of the frame, you can fit onto French doors as large as 2800mm (width) by 2300mm (height).
Pleated screen doors. You can fit onto apertures up to 2400mm wide by installing 2 pleated doors, not forgetting the connection kit. This kit will allow you to join the 2 screens. This has the advantage of being able to leave one side closed, and the other side open for people to enter/exit.
